CRYSTALS:
FROM COMPUTERS TO CAR ENGINES |
|
|
| Crystal
therapy is an ancient art, originating some believe in Egypt thousand
of years ago. Medical prescriptions discovered from the ancient
Egyptians times included certain stones (Malachite, Chrysocolla
and Hematite etc).
|
| Crystals
have been used down through history for healing, personal reflection
and meditation. Crystals work well with the human energy field;
they can move, absorb, focus, direct and diffuse energy within the
body. When the body is unwell or diseased it is usually because
the person has in some way, lost their balance/natural rhythm.
|
Our current scientific understanding of the chemical structure and
properties of crystals is comparatively recent yet our modern world
would simply not be possible without crystals. From computers to
car engines, lasers to space shuttles – all have vital components
made from those peculiar bits of stone.
|
They
are an integral part of the earth’s core and are placed on
earth to send out healing to all life, whether man, animal or plant
life. Because the healing power of Crystals lie in their natural
ability to focus, amplify, transmit, receive and balance, they can
be used to amplify our thoughts, help us to focus, transmit energy
and generate love.
|
Any
mineral or crystal collection reflects what we have in our bodies
– from iron crystals in our blood to minerals that crystallise
in our bones. Similarly, the minerals we take as food supplements
and the fertilisers we use in our fields and gardens are the same
materials that exist in the crystal forms we use as decoration or
tools for healing.
|
The
properties of crystals derive from their orderliness and the stability
of their atomic structure. If subjected to some outside force (such
as heat, pressure, electricity or light) crystals are able to make
minute adjustments to restore their internal stability. This is
the quality that makes crystals so important in many different areas
of technology |
 |
Crystal
healing can be understood through nature and number. The first number
that springs to mind with most crystals is 6. Most of us will have
seen a common, quartz crystal; each and every one has 6 sides. In
cross-section they are hexagonal, at the |
molecular
level they are hexagonal and, as science slowly abandons the idea
of particles of substance, in favour of energy waves and patterns,
they are seen as hexagonal geometrised light-energy. So the idea
that the number 6 has something to do with crystal healing, may
not be the first place we might have looked, but it's in line with
an older way of thinking, of de-coding the natural world we perceive.
