Here is a
brief glance over the symptoms and signals of negative
stress :
|
 |
|
Constant
Fatigue and General Lack of Energy. |
 |
Do
you constantly feel tired, listless and without energy right
in the morning, and without being otherwise ill? |
 |
Do
you feel exhausted by midday? |
 |
Do
you often tell yourself that if you could have a little more
rest you would feel fine? |
 |
If the answer is
yes, you may be under stress. |
| Remember,
the human body is built to remain energetic till a very ripe
age. Merely taking more rest would not help. Check with your
physician, you may be under stress. |
Insomnia
and Drowsiness :
If you constantly
feel that you need more sleep, but cannot sleep, it may be
due to stress. The worst thing about insomnia is that it is
not an effect of stress but also a cause of stress. Lack of
sleep may be due to stress and may also lead to further stress.
Remember, unless you are otherwise
sick, an average of about six hours’ sleep is enough for a
healthy person. Check if some changes in your sleeping pattern,
or in your bedroom, are making an improvement in your sleeping
habits. Early to bed and early to rise is still the key to
good health.
Sleeping straight and flat on
the back gives you the most relaxed sleep, as you are able
to have maximum free inhalation, and the intake of oxygen
is thereby maximized. Sleeping on the tummy is the worst thing
to do. |
Stiff
Neck and Backache :
Do you often
have backache and the doctor tells you there is nothing wrong?
Rotate your neck and try
to see an object directly at your back from both the sides.
If you are unable to comfortably rotate the neck bones
make crackling sounds, it may be due to spondylosis. This
is a sure sign of stress. |
